Beach destinations are great fun, they are filled with fun and excitement and in most instances create lasting memories. When you vacation at Daytona Beach – Florida however, you get “Way More” than just a beach vacation. You get 23 miles for sparkling seas, white sandy beaches and NASCAR!
Daytona Beach is world renowned for their NASCAR racing and Independence Day weekends. The climate in Florida is conducive to year-round vacationers visiting the area, and with so much to see and do, all tastes are catered for. Accommodation is taken care of for all types of budget and visitors can find some of the best golf, fishing, shopping, beaches, water-sports, dining and cultural activities available any where else in the world.
Independence Day celebrations are not the same without hot-dogs, cotton candy, hamburgers, ice-cream, saltwater taffy and NASCAR racing. And there is only one real place to find this, Daytona Beach! Saturday nights, watching the racing at the World Center of Racing is never the same anywhere else. Daytona Beach NASCAR racing is of a standard which sets international trends, and has to been enjoyed at least once in your life.

Culture is plentiful too at the Art League of Daytona Beach which holds regularly changed exhibitions of national and local artists. The old winter home of the Rockefellers is a must-see. This tour is also free and the “Casements” has become the museum and cultural center of Ormond Beach. Built by John D Rockefeller, this taste of Daytona Beach history takes place Monday to Friday, and Saturdays too at predetermined times.
A lot of US beaches offer music, festivals and concerts, and Daytona Beach is no different. You’ll find great concerts all summer long ranging from jazz, rock, country, big band and Latin concerts from May to September. A free fireworks show is featured after the concert, and who doesn’t love fireworks! Make sure you bring your beach chairs for the evening.
Did you know the North Peninsula State Recreation Area is free. This must visit park offers 2 miles of beautiful, pristine beaches, surf fishing, sea turtles and a 900 acre park.
