Have you ever taken a beach vacation? This can really be a great way to relax and rejuvenate, and it’s also a great way to reconnect with friends and family!

When you think of going to the beach, do you think only of the beach that is nearest you? There is an endless supply of gorgeous beaches around the world. Some have different colors of sand, and some are very tropical.

My spouse and I went to Hawaii, specifically Maui, for our honeymoon, and we have memories from the trip that will last a lifetime. I love looking at our honeymoon pictures with miles and miles of sand behind us!

If you’ve already been to Maui, consider the Virgin Islands! Many honeymooners enjoy this popular spot. It is absolutely gorgeous and you’ll never forget the memories you create as you enjoy the scenery with your partner.

Not looking for a long vacation overseas? Try a weekend in California. You’ll love the beaches there, and with so many of them, you have plenty of options. Those of you with children will appreciate not only the many activities available, but also the fact that you don’t have to travel overseas with kids in tow!

If you aren’t sure where to go in California, try the Huntingdon beach, the San Diego Zoo, and Sea World. These attractions are sure to give you and your kids a great vacation and many life long memories!

Before making a decision on your getaway destination, be sure you do your homework and find out if the resort is more appropriate for family vacations or romantic getaways. This can avoid some awkward discussions with the kids later!

Because there are usually many different things to do on your beach vacation, it is helpful to look into the many options before you set out. Decide what your top priorities are and have fun!
