Puerto Pollenca Puerto Pollena is very relaxed and family-friendly. It has a long, wide pedestrianised seafront, known as the pine walk where children can run around freely away from traffic. The bay upon which the resort stands is shallow, and the sea is warm, clean and inviting, stretching for over 2 miles. For the more energetic, windsurfing and sailing are also popular here.
The Calas Cala DOr Cala DOr (Golden Cove) is a chic resort which embraces several sandy coves known as thecalas, all with fine white sand, clear shallow water and picturesque views. The largest is Cala Gran offering watersports including sailing, windsurfing and scuba-diving. Cala DOr marina is the heart of the east coast resort area, attracting the fashionable yachting set.
Cala Tuent This secluded beach benefits from clear waters and restaurants closeby which are ideal for lunch or when hungry with have stunning views. Sa Calobra is also well worth a visit for the stunning views of the island
3 Stunning Beaches in Cala San Vicente The resort of Cala San Vicente has not just one but 3 stunning beaches! Each one is near to the shops bars and restaurants. If you fancy a swim the water is clear with fantastic views of the Formentor cliffs.
Platja de Formentor The unbeatably lovely, pine-fringed Platja de Formentor. Once the private realm of a flamboyant Argentinian beef baron, and then of the Hotel Formentor, the long white-sand strand is now open to the public but remains protected from development. The beach is kissed by the crystal-clear waters. Ideally accessed by a picturesque ferry boat from Puerto Pollena.
